"Pressing On: The Letterpress Film" Artist panel discussion and premier

  • Hatch Show Print 224 5th Avenue South Nashville, TN, 37203 United States (map)

Join me Saturday May 27th at Hatch Show Print, for a day of letterpress love as we build up to the evening premier of the greatly anticipated documentary "Pressing On: The Letterpress Film."

Starting at 9:30am, Hatch Show Print will host a day full of letterpress-related activities starting with family friendly fun, self guided tours around the city to several well-recognized Nashville letterpress shops, a history of Hatch Show Print, an artist panel discussion and Q&A, cocktail reception, film screening and Q&A with the film makers.

I've been invited to participate in a 1 hour artist panel discussion on the perseverance of letterpress in my own professional and personal endeavors. This is a free but ticketed event. Follow the link below to reserve your ticket. This panel will be followed by a cocktail reception and a 7:30pm screening of the film.

"Far from a dying art, letterpress printing continues to thrive in the twenty-first century. We’ve asked a few of today’s practitioners to participate in a discussion about the ways in which they continue to preserve, perfect, and share their work. Advance reservation required. Program takes place in the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and runs one hour."
